kathryncampbell,
Not sure what you mean. You can still use the tool when you login using your sniper's username/password.

What is your definition of soon? Not changed as of 22 August 2018. Not good when you have to get instructions from a forum.

Actually, I mentioned that you have to use your sniper's username/password when you login to the sniper.
The labels will be updated soon.

Anyway, I'm glad you got it figured out quickly. Thank you for your follow up.

I think it will be useful to tell you and everyone.
When the program starts, it says:
specify eBay User ID:
and
specify Password:
And we (like me) enter eBay account information!
This is not correct! Now after synchronization, we must enter the log-password from your site account only!

Error in the old interface of app.
I think it will help others!

Many thanks!

Again.
Does not work only your Windows application.
The password reseted. On-line web-service works, everything is synchronized, but ..
Your application does not authorize and not accepted any combination to the eBay account.
OK?

The version of Python has nothing to do with your account.
If you can't login, please reset your sniper's password as I mentioned above.
Is there a reason why you can't or don't want to do it? Please share.

Sorry...The password is alway reset ok, no problem with it.
I said that for a web-account of your site, it does not matter what data to enter: nickname or e-mail address of the profile.
Your site is always successfully synchronized with ebay, with a personal cabinet.
But ...
Your application for Windows can not be logged into eBay personal account. And it does not matter what you enter: email | PWD or nickname|PWD.
Correct? It you can understand ?

Sorry for my stumped mind...
But maybe you need to re-compile your app, script and use a new Python version, a new script or/ and new dll?
Just new release Python, not old v.2.5? Sample like v.3.4?
Thank you

I don't really understand what you said.
Why do you think resetting your sniper's password is a no way?
Can you please try it at least?

Sorry, but think IMHO no way.
After your answer(here: https://www.myibidder.com/forums/viewtopic/8009/password-or-connection-error/#0 ), I just tried two types: ebay nickname and ebay email. So sorry, but not connected. Just failed.

Intereset moment, inside in to web-based account, especialy not important what you entered: nickname|pwd or email|PWD, when we do relink actions.
After complete, I've tried, windows app again - not connected. And too based W10 PC and W7.

If you need to reset your sniper's password, please use the reset password procedure.

Do not forget to link your eBay account after that at https://www.myibidder.com/main/ebay

Then you should always use your sniper's username/password to login to the sniper.

Hi there and thanks for the support.

I have Panda Gold coupled with Emsisoft Anti-Malware running. I have updated my Ebay password, I ran the diagnostic and the result is "Login...FAILED".

After reading all of the threads and following suggestions I'm still in the same situation.

Version: 1.1.4
System: Windows
Platform: Windows-Vista-10.0.15063
Username: 5704brad
Initializing: passed
Connecting: passed
Checking IP: shows my public IP
Login: FAILED

Some help would be appreciated.
