I'm sorry you missed your snipe.
I'll explain what happened in a moment..

There are no currency issue, because bids are using the currency whatever is default for that particular auction and no conversion is done.
But there is a certain requirement when you can change your bid. I suggest not to change it when there are 2-3 minutes or less left until the auction's end.
Your snipe was lower originally, but you changed it when there were few minutes left.

Hi and thanks for your bidding system.

I have a problem with europeans ebay bids (ebay.fr f.e) : my bid should have won but instead i get the following answer :

"The following bid was placed per your request:
eBay XXX_snip_XXX
Amount: 240.00
Status:
Can not bid (3): Enter EUR 238.00 or more

AFAIK, 240eur is > 238 ;) - btw the step was 1 eur and delay set to 8 seconds.

Is there a currency (USD/EUR) problem with the web site version ?
