It will bid the exact amount you specified.
If nobody bid higher, you will win at the lowest possible price just enough to outbid the previous bidder by one increment only.

If I place a snipe on an item and set my max bid to, say $180, will it automatically bid $180 or will it just out bid the highest previous bid by the smallest amount possible?
